Good regulation blade, etched with foliate decoration, Royal Arms and Cypher, and named to JEC MACKAY.
Regulation pattern plated guard and shagreen grip. Housed in brown leather scabbard.
Overall good condition
Interior of guard pitted, some pitting & scratches to exterior of guard.
Scabbard lacking frog-loop & split in stitching.
Later addition sword knot.

Late 19th century Anglo / Indian walking stick / swordstick / club.
The ultimate in camoflaged defence weapons
In stick form it can be used as a club using heavy weighted brass lions head handle or short spear / lance using pointed finial. The handle & blade detaches by twisting brass collar for use as sword.
Sword stick is approx 36 inches long, blade measures approx 23 inches, 28 inches with handle.
Brass lions head finial held in place by later pin.
Bone inlay decoration to handle. Brass twist collar sword release decorative carving top & bottom of stick scabbard , white metal ( ? steel ) finial to end.
Wear as expected, consummate to age, steel finial is slightly loose with small hole. blade has discolouration but is in overall good condition. Scratches to ebonisation , hairline to bone see pic.

Douglas Gracey
General Sir Douglas David Gracey KCB, KCIE, CBE, MC & Bar was a British Indian Army officer in both the First and Second World Wars. He also fought in French Indochina and was the second Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Army. Gracey held this latter office from 11 February 1948 until his retirement on 16 January 1951. Born to English parents living in India, he was educated in English schools before returning to India to serve in the military there.

Secondary minute dial, crown winding .
In very good condition, working, and keeping Time.
Watch dial is approximately 5 cm
There are no makers mark's , attributed Helvetica.
